This location is so much better than the one located on Nordhoff and Van Nuys. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I ordered 3 Asada Tacos w/ Red Sauce and boy were they spicy but that good kinda spicy you know? Anyways they were good

this was one of my family's favorite places when i was growing up and we'd often go to this one or the one on nordoff. we moved out of the valley in 2012 and would come back every so often, sometimes here and sometimes at other spots.
we were all in the valley today and came, craving tacos. everyone was massively disappointed.
i ordered a agua de piña and it tasted off immediately. i went and got a sprite instead. when our number was called, they'd forgotten two tacos. when we got all our food, it was not good whatsoever. the tortillas were cold and stiff and the meat was unflavored. my dad asked me to get a refill for his coke and refills were $3.02! -

NOT GAY FRIENDLY!
I've been to this Mexican restaurant three times and I obviously came back because the tacos were decent. As I entered the restaurant it was empty with only one family, so I figured there wasn't a long wait. As I began to order my food the cashier began to give my gf bad looks. They kept staring at us, the customer service was horrible. BTW they only give you the option for one size with their agua frescas or smoothies which are $8. And its watered-down, definitely not fresh fruit. -

Wow. This place has gone downhill. I remember it being so good, we would have it twice or even three times a week. The quality of the meat used to be so rich and good. I started coming here in 2012 and I remember they used to serve food with radishes and big slices of lemon. Now - no more radishes and ridiculously small slices of lemons. The tortillas are dry and old, and the meat is so dry, I have to keep chugging some liquid to help it go down my throat. We went last night at 8:30pm and there were two employees behind the counter. One person was behind the cash register taking orders and the other one was CLEANING. It was 8:30pm, and there was a line of people needing to be served. Nobody was manning the grill or even serving the drinks.
I used to brag about how authentic and delicious this place is. No longer coming back here. -

Okay, its been a while since I've been here and everything is the same but the only thing that has changed was the prices. Which hasn't increased that much, considering its been 10+ years. Tacos still amazing, the green salsa is delicious and this is why I decided to eat here on Monday. I remember the spiciness and lemony taste and their meat is always good too. I also went with a fresh juice, orange and pineapple and remember this is fresh and it was delicious! All the workers here too are very nice and my order came out perfect, since I was ordering for 3 different people.
